Walk at your own risk.

The short version: this site helps you plan. It does not walk with you. Conditions change, data goes stale, and the judgement on the day is yours.

Using the site

You may use Walk for Days to plan walks for yourself and people you are walking with. You may share plan links freely. You may not scrape the site, republish its writing or data as your own, or use it to train a model without asking.

No warranty on route or safety information

Route lines, distances, heights, stations, buses, beds and every other fact on the site are given in good faith, with the date they were checked where they have been checked and a plain “not yet checked” where they have not. They may still be wrong, out of date or incomplete, and we make no warranty that they are otherwise.

Walk at your own risk. Long-distance walking carries real hazards: cliff edges that are undercut and collapse without warning, exposed ridges in weather, tides, livestock, traffic on road sections, and the simple fact of being a long way from help. Check the weather, the tides where they matter, path closures and the last bus before you set out; take a paper map and the means to navigate with it; and turn back when the day says to. Nothing on this site replaces your own judgement.

Partner links

Bookings you make through a partner link are made with that partner, under their terms. We are not a party to the booking and cannot cancel, change or refund it.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything in it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and who we are
