This site sets no cookies. It uses cookieless analytics and no advertising tags, so there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Here is what it does store.

Strictly necessary, in your browser's local storage
- dof-theme — dark or light, once you have chosen. Without it the site is light.
- dof-ticks:… — the “done” ticks on a plan’s booking checklist, one entry per plan.
- dof-plan-query:… — the planner’s last settings for a trail, so “Build your walk” on the guide returns you to them. Cleared when the tab closes.
- dof-consent — reserved for a consent choice should a non-essential technology ever be added. Not used today.
None of these leaves your device, and none identifies you.
Third parties
The guide and planner maps load tiles from OpenFreeMap. Tile requests carry no identifier from us; whether the tile server sets anything is the server’s to say, and to our knowledge it sets nothing. Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) sets no cookie and no local storage.
Partner links
A link marked Partner takes you off this site to the partner, which may pass you on to a booking site; the planner’s bed searches, once switched on, go through Stay22 to sites such as Booking.com or Expedia. Those sites set their own cookies on their own domains, to record that you came from us and to run their service, under their own cookie policies. Nothing is set on this site, and nothing happens until you follow the link.
Managing consent
There is nothing to manage. If a non-essential technology is ever added, a banner will ask first, and this page will list it.
